Lexington Hoffman, VMD After
receiving his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Hoffman moved to Arizona in 2003 (in
case you're curious, the reason why his degree is "VMD" rather than "DVM" is that Penn awards its degrees in Latin rather
English, and grammatical differences between the two languages result in the different sequence of the letters). He has particular
interest in ultrasound, surgery, and emergency/critical care. In his spare time he enjoys cycling, trail running, and other
outdoor pursuits. Four years at IRAH.

Stefanie
Saddler If at the tender age of five you had asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, without any hesitation I
would have replied a Police Officer. But growing up with a very persistent mother whose love of animals outshined that of
her kids it was insisted upon that one of her daughters work with animals. When a local veterinarian offered me the chance
to train and work as a technician the very real fear of my mother allowed me to take this veterinarian up on her offer. And
so I have remained for the last four years, and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have been involved in rescue organizations
since before I could drive; fostering hundreds of kittens and dogs. I am the mother to a wonderful, snorting pug: Mathew Grady.
I am also the humble servant to three cats who hate each other as much as they hate their canine siblings. While the world
of law enforcement still calls out to me, I have put it on hold, focusing instead on the fuzzy, wet-nosed critters that have
brought me so much joy over the years. One year at IRAH.
